Annie Kenney Young Women's Refuge was originally funded as an annex of the Hobart Women's Shelter from 1978, Annie Kenney became an Incorporated Association from 17 June 1981 and operated as a Collective. The Shelter provided accommodation and support to young women. This institution is included in the Scheme as part of Women's Shelter Inc.
