Notes:
The Diocese of Armidale purchased the school in 1949 through the Corporate Trustees of the Diocese of Armidale. The business of the school was then carried on by the Diocese under the name of 'The Armidale School'. The school was governed by an unincorporated Council. The Council was incorporated as an Anglican body corporate in April 1972. This institution no longer operates and is part of The Armidale School group participating in the National Redress Scheme (NRS).

The Australian Government acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community. We pay our respects to the Elders both past and present.
