The Diocese of Armidale purchased the school in 1949 through the Corporate Trustees of the Diocese of Armidale. The school was sold by the company called 'The Armidale School Limited' and that company was incorporated in 1923 and operated the school until its sale in 1949. The company was later wound up after changing its name. This institution no longer operates and is part of The Armidale School group participating in the National Redress Scheme (NRS).
