During World War II the hospital was requisitioned for wartime use by the defence forces, Hillcrest Hospital therefore had temporary address for a period in King's Park Road, near Perth in WA around the period of 1940 - 1945. This institution is included in the Scheme as part of The Salvation Army Western Australia.
