On 17th August 1977 it changed its name to Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Services of South Australia Inc. In 2010 it began operating under the name OARS Community Transitions (OARS CT). It provides a comprehensive array of services for people in prison. It also focuses on crime prevention programs and restorative justice.
