The Northern Territory (NT) Branch of Scouts Australia has historically been part of New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia (SA) Branches. The Branch was handed over to the SA Branch during 1954-1955. The Branch later became part of SA Branch NT Area Incorporated on 24 April 1984. It became the Scout Association of Australia (NT Branch) on 4 May 1993.
