1924, St Mary's Primary and St Michel's High School both started on same site. 1954, St Michael's closed and became St Mary's College. Still often referred to as St Michael's after this date. The Sisters of the Good Samaritan were invited to work in this ministry by the Diocese of Ballarat. Sisters were actively present in this institution between 1954 and 1971.
