Notes:
In 1887 the first building was officially opened and named to honour queen victorias golden jubilee year. This was a 40 bed hospital for the area. The victoria district hospital consists of four structures victoria house (1887), campbell house (opened in 1895 during the height of typhoid) and crowley house and theatre (1897). Fun fact: the hospital was still in operation until geraldton regional hospital opened its doors in 1966!
