Therapeutic Services

A state-wide therapeutic service which assists children and young people to recover from trauma. Services are provided from various locations state-wide. This is included through Berry Street Victoria.

Sutherland Homes

Berry Street; Sutherland Child Youth and Family Services

Sutherland Homes provided out of home care for children. Dormitory style care was phased out in the early 60's and care then provided from cottage homes. Sutherland Homes also provided a range of family services within the Northern parts of Melbourne. Sutherland Homes merged with Berry Street in 1994. This is included through Berry Street Victoria.

Sutherland Community Resource Centre

Sutherland Homes Community Resource Centre previously operated by Sutherland Homes provided services to the Northern Region for people experiencing Family Violence, conflict, parenting difficulties, housing or financial problems. This is included through Berry Street Victoria.

Redan Street Adolescent Hostel

Included through Berry Street Victoria and provided long term, medium care and emergency care places.

Reception Care Gippsland

Included through Berry Street Victoria and covers various operating locations within Gippsland region.

Sutherland Homes

Amaroo; Greensborough; Northern Accommodation and Support Services; Sutherland Homes

Included through Sutherland Homes, the Temporary Care Units are known as Amaroo and Greensborough. Services are provided through Group Homes and Specialist Units, at various locations in the Northern and Western parts of Melbourne.

Lisa Lodge

Included through Berry Street Victoria, over 42 years Lisa Lodge grew from providing accommodation for girls to providing a range of community services, including foster care, residential care, intensive case management, family violence, homelessness and mentoring programs.

Lead Tenant Program - West

BLAST

Lead tenant programs provide a semi-independent living environment in which young people 16-18 years to live in a residential setting and are supported by one or two approved adult volunteer lead tenant/s who provide day-to-day guidance and role modelling.
