In 1924, St Mary's Primary and St Michel's High School both started on same site. In 1954, St Michael's closed and became St Mary's College. It was often referred to as St Michael's after this date. The Sisters of the Good Samaritan were invited to work in this ministry by the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes. Sisters were actively present in this institution from 1934 to 1967.

The Sisters of the Good Samaritan were invited to establish this school, which was entrusted to their religious institute by the Archdiocese of Brisbane. Sisters were actively present in this institution from 1939 to 1949.

Columba Catholic College

1900, Sisters of the Good Samaritan started teaching at St Columba Primary School and St Mary College. 1998, schools were amalgamated to become part of Columba Catholic College. The Sisters of the Good Samaritan were invited to work in this ministry by the Diocese of Rockhampton and later the Diocese of Townsville. Sisters were actively present in this institution between 1900 and 1997. A period between 1979 and 1996 did not have any Sisters present in the school.
