Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth

The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth are an International Congregation of women religious committed to cooperating with Jesus Christ and with his Church in spreading the Kingdom of God's Love among themselves and others, particularly within families. The sisters are involved in active ministry in schools, hospitals, parishes, prisons, and social service agencies.

Mary Immaculate School

Mary Immaculate Parish

Site is owned and operated by the local diocese. 1994-1996 A Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth served as Religious Education Coordinator at Mary Immaculate parish and school, Bossley Park. Mary Immaculate Parish in the Archdiocese of Sydney was established in 1980. The evolving pilgrimage of a Faith Community has been directed by the efforts and guidance of diocesan priests and sisters of the Dominican Congregation.

Mary Immaculate Catholic Church

Site is owned and operated by the local diocese. In 2021, a member of the Congregation commenced working at the Parish as a sacramental coordinator. The Congregation worked at the Parish from 1972 to 1996. 2004 There were a number of 'new' Parish Adult Education programmes initiated in Mary Immaculate Parish and a Youth team set up. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth participate in some of these programmes. As a gathering of the People of God in Mary Immaculate Parish, one in Christ, proclaiming the Gospel, the teachings of the Church and promoting Mary and the saints as models of discipleship.

St Andrews College was established in 1998. Its historical foundations were from two significant religious congregations: Patrician Brothers (1981 - John Paul II Senior High School) and the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth (1967 - Holy Family High School). The dual campus high school took its name from the local parish, St Andrew the Apostle.

The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth came to Marayong in 1954 taking a central role in caring for Polish migrant families displaced by the Second World War. In response to church, local and community needs, their ministry now extends to serve families through active ministry in schools, hospitals, parishes, prisons and social service agencies. The legacy of the sisters lives on in old and new ways meeting the ever-changing needs of families today and into the future.

Institute of Mission

IFM

Site is owned and operated by the local diocese of Parramatta. From 2018 until the present time a Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth serves as a Program and Engagement Representative at the Institute of Mission. Based in Marion Street Blacktown, the Institute for Mission (IFM) team offers programs and resources for life in faith among the people of the large and growing Diocese of Parramatta.

In 1957 in response to an invitation by the Polish clergy and Polish community, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth went to serve the people in Western Australia.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is a suffragan Latin Rite diocese of the Archdiocese of Sydney, established in 1847, initially as the Diocese of Maitland and changed to the current name in 1995. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth were invited to the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle to support children and their families through the Catholic Schools Office (CSO).

Site is owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth served and continue to serve as pastoral carers, teachers and psychologists. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth were invited to the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle to support children and their families through the Catholic Schools Office (CSO).
